Update the Name, FQDN, or IP of a Managed Server in Veeam Backup & Replication.

=== Usage Exceptions ===
  * '''Do NOT use''' for:
    * VMware Cloud Director entries → Contact Veeam Support
    * Machines in Protection Groups
    * Sub-entities of vCenter or SCVMM
    * Changing the Veeam Backup Server hostname → See KB2350 and KB2127

=== Challenge ===
Managed Server's Name/FQDN/IP has changed and must be updated in Veeam.

=== Solution ===
  * Only valid if the vCenter database remains unchanged.
  * If Ref-IDs changed (e.g., new DB), follow [[https://www.veeam.com/kb1299|KB1299]].

=== Before You Begin ===
  - Identify the current server name in the Veeam UI.
  - Disable MFA if enabled → See KB4535

=== Rename Procedure ===
  - Launch PowerShell from Veeam Console
  - Run:
